Cycling for
Tyrell Trouville
September 29, 2024
This year we ride in memory of Tyrell Trouville. Tyrell was a 25 year old Dracut resident, and a 2017 Dracut HS graduate, who passed away on February 6th, 2024 from the effects of Kratom (Mitragynine). Kratom is an herbal leaf that comes in many different forms, such as non-alcoholic seltzers and teas, and is sold in many convenience stores in a number of states.
Tyrell's outgoing and infectious smile was remembered everywhere. He was loud, funny, eccentric and lived his life on his own terms. He brought so much joy to all the lives around him. Tyrell and his family are a large part of the Dracut community.
Our goal this year with the help of Tyrell's mother Holly, a Greater Lowell Technical High School teacher and her family, and friends, is to honor Tyrell by raising scholarship money for both Dracut High School and Greater Lowell Technical High School.

These scholarships will be given to graduating seniors who have plans on attending college or going into a trade. Tyrell's family would also like to bring awareness about the often unknown and dangerous effects that Kratom can cause to one's health and body.
